Muhammad in Bible

Muhammad was a messenger who was foretold in the Bible. His characteristics and personality were written by the Prophets before him. He was a Prophet whom God promised in Bible. His coming was already mentioned in Bible. Allah said that he was mentioned in Bible, 

"Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel, who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them. So they who have believed in him, honored him, supported him and followed the light which was sent down with him-it is those who will be the successful." (Al-A'raaf:157)

"And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic." (Ashoff : 6) 

Prophet Muhammad was mentioned in Bible. His characteristics and personality were mentioned by the prophets before him. He was mentioned in Bible because he was the last messenger sent by God. He was a Prophet whom God promised in Bible. The Bible foretold his coming to show that he was really a messenger of God. He had same position as all the Prophets of the Bible. He was the last messenger of God. His coming was to perfect the religion of God. Coming with his book Koran, Muhammad came to teach the teaching of the Prophets before him. 

Muhammad was sent to all human race

Prophet Muhammad was a prophet sent to the whole world. He was not only sent to one people but to all mankind. He was not only sent to one nation but to all humanity. The message of his treatise was monotheistic which was universal and covers all fields. He came to convey the message of Tawheed to them. He was a prophet who came to spread the message of peace and bring the people to the righteousness. He came to bring humanity to the path of God. 

The fulfilment of the prophecy

The prophecies about Muhammad in Bible were the evidence of his prophethood. Even though the Bible didn't mention his name but it clearly told the promised works about him. All what the Bible said about him had been fulfilled by him. Prophet Muhammad had fulfilled all the prophecies. Muhammad was the promised prophet whom the Bible had foretold. He was the promised messenger of the Bible. 

Why Muhammad was written in Bible

Muhammad was written in Bible because he was the last messenger of God. He came to fulfil all prophecies in the Bible. His coming was to fulfil all verses about him as said by Bible. He was a prophet whom God promised in Bible.
